Description
The EU already has a set of rules requiring taxpayers and their advisers to report information about certain types of arrangements that might facilitate tax evasion. DAC6 was launched in 2018 to strengthen tax transparency and improve information sharing between countries. As of March 2023, the UK implemented its own Mandatory Disclosure Rules, known as UK MDR, with many similarities to DAC6 and some key differences.
